Rose Garden update

Here is an update picture of Rose Garden. I am about 50 percent done with it. I have to say it is coming along rather nicely.

I am rather pleased with the way it is turning out.

On the home front, things are better with Ariel and her being nervous about going to school. I told her that she has nothing to worry about. She told me that she feels so much better.

I am miserable, I have a head cold, and it isn't any fun at all. I am taking medicine and taking my vitamins, so I feel a little better than what I did. But still a little miserable.

But I am fighting it hard as I can.

Back to the stitching front. I am thinking of adding my new Mystic pattern, but am not sure if I will or not. I haven't really decided, I think I am going to stick with the orginal plan and just stitch it on Sundays. Still debating that. We shall see, I can't wait to start it.

Weekly update stitching and other

I have done some stitching, but not a whole lot. I have just been really tired, and had a really bad migrane yesterday, so I didn't do a lot around here at all.

I registered for the new semester, so next week I will have a free week that I can catch up on stitching. I still have Rose Garden out, but not any updated pictures of it, I am hoping to have one soon. I know I have promised pics, but I think I can get one taken this week, since I am not doing a whole lot. I am going to keep working on Rose Garden, since this week is for that. I haven't worked on Country Comforts at all. I have really hardly picked up a needle at all. That is just horrible, but what can you do life is just there and it happens.

I did get my new pattern from Mystic Stitch, it is called Season's Greetings, I am thinking that I will start it this coming weekend, and make one day that I can work on that. One of those ELF day things, where you work on holiday projects. I do have a tree skirt that I need to work on, but I need to get a stitching stand that can hold the q snaps, don't know where to find one of those at all. I will have to look around the internet for one. If anyone knows of where I can get a really nice one, that isn't expensive let me know.

Next week will be really crazy. I am taking six classes, and these are all in four days. I think I am insane. LOL. But I want to get as many credits done and over with that I can. I am taking pschylogoy. The spelling is really wrong, sorry. Can't spell this morning. That should be a interesting class. Where I will find the time to stitch once I start classes next week will be beyond me, but I am determined to find the time. I will need it to relax.

I don't have to work today, so I think I am going to watch some movies and stitch, and just vegetate and maybe do laundry. I really need to do that. But right now, I am just going sit and stitch away. I am almost done with page 5 of Rose Garden, and want to get that stitched, and start on page 6. Page 6 will not take long at all.

The kids are hanging in there, they are a little bored. Did have some drama with Ariel though. She watched an interview that her grandfather did on TV about gangs and them being in school. He is the superintendent of schools. Well she totally flipped out, so I called her school and asked the vice principal and the deputy to talk with her. She is upset about kids making fun of her, and saying that she is in one of the gangs because she wears blue alot, and she isn't. She is feeling a little better about it, but she still is a little nervous, which I understand.

Okay, I am done rambling, now I am going to sit and stitch for the rest of the day, only after I get some lunch for myself.

Semester is over/ update on life

The semester is over, and the new one starts in two weeks. I go and register for the next semester tonight. I can't believe that I am going into my second semester. It is going to feel funny next week, not going to class, but I can relax and get some stitching caught up.

Things here are going well. Miranda had a wonderful birthday. She is 11, wow. I don't have any pictures, I forgot my camera, and my father hasn't sent me pictures that they took yet. Miranda got to her my father sing happy birthday to her. She really likes it when he does that. Of course he sang it like he was an opera singer.

I now have my own business on the side. I am so excited. I am doing Market America. I really love it. I am also going to sell Home Interiors again. I did it a long time ago, and just kind of got out of it, life got in the way. I hate it when that happens. I can't wait. It is going to be interesting trying to revolve my home business around life, work, kids, and college, but I am going to give it a try. It can't hurt. I know if things get to hectic, and crazy I can stop something, not college though. I have worked to hard for that.

It snowed last night, and it is supposed to snow tonight, and they are talking 3 inches here, but I could be wrong, I hear so many different things. I am just going with the flow.

I don't have any updated pics of stitching, but I will try to take one tonight, since I don't have class tonight.

I need to keep up more with my blogging, and posting my pictures, I forget what I have posted and what I haven't.

Well off to work

Weekly update a little late

I know this is a little late, but I have been busy working second job this weekend.

I stitched some this week on Rose Garden, should have a picture of it up tonight, I am hoping. It is coming along nicely.

Tomorrow is Miranda's birthday, she will be 11. I can't believe she will be that old. I told her she was getting to old. LOL. Pretty soon she will be a teenager. She already acts like one in some ways. I don't know if that is a good thing or not. She is excited about her party this afternoon, we are going to my parents house for her birthday, and my mom is making her spaghetti, so she is excited about that. I am taking the camera, so I will post pictures of that also.

I am hoping to do some stitching today, before we leave to go over there, I also have to type up a paper for school, that is due tomorrow, so that should be fun.

I plan to start on Country Comforts tomorrow. I am still waiting on my order from Mystic Stitch, I hope that it comes soon. I want to add that to rotation also.

I still need to get some charity stitching done, I am beginning to think I have to much stuff on my plate. LOL. I hope not.

Have a good day all, I am off to drink coffee, put dishes in dishwasher, and then stitch.

Day off

Well I wasn't expecting a day off today. It snowed last night, and school is closed today. So I am going to go back to bed, and then get up and clean the house, and do some other things, that I need to do, and then I am going to stitch.

We got 1 1/2 inches of snow, so I know what I am doing this afternoon, stitching away. I am working on Rose Garden this week, so I will hopefully make a nice dent in it today.

Now back to bed.

Weekly stitching and life update

I stitched on this for a bit last night, while watching the Grammys which was all that great. But I did make a pretty good dent in Country Comforts this week. Time to put this aside and work on Rose Garden.

Life has been okay this week, except for Justin being sick, but he is so much better now. He is back to his old self, and that is good.

Ariel feels better, at least she is acting like she is, she hasn't said if her throat hurts or not. So I am just going with the flow. Thank goodness Miranda and I haven't gotten sick, I am keeping my fingers crossed that she or I don't.

It is very cold here today, it is 29. Wow, yesterday it was in the 50s. This weather is crazy around here.

Well that is all for today. Now off to work.

Everyone is back up and running

We are all back in school. Justin is feeling a whole lot better. He went to school yesterday, and he did okay. I was a little worried, that he would spike a fever again, but he didn't, and he had a good day. Mommy was just being the worried mom.

I did get to stitch a little last night on Country Comforts, and started Page 3. It is really looking nice. I am thinking it is about 20 percent done, I hope so. I can never guess. LOL. I can't wait for this to get finished.

Ariel my oldest is still sick, she may have to get her tonsils taken out, and she isn't excited. She is a little anxious about it, but she is really worried, and I told her that there is nothing to be worried about. So we are waiting for the test results, to find out whether or not she needs them out or not. She went to school yesterday, but she stayed home again today, she told me that she didn't feel really well. I told her that was fine, so I will have to email her teachers to let them know.

Today is picture day at school, so I got the kids all ready and gussied up for their pictures. They are ready. I hate having pictures taken at school twice a year. It is a big pain.

Well off to work, will have a new picture soon of COuntry Comforts.

Update on son

Well we went to the doctor, and the doctor told me that Justin did start off with the flu, but now he has the start of an ear infection from the cold that he has had with the flu. He is allowed to go back to school on Friday, so that means one more day at home with Mommy, whom he is getting bored with. He wanted to go to school tomorrow, but the doctor told him that he couldn't. Justin was a little disappointed, but he is being a real trooper about the whole thing. The doctor gave him some medicine, and Justin told her that the medicine that she prescribed smelled like rotten eggs, we just laughed at the whole thing, but he is being a good boy and taking it, so he can get better.

I did manage to get some stitching done on Country Comforts tonight, and finished page 4, but didn't take a picture, will do that either tomorrow or Friday. It is really looking nice, and I love watching the scene unfold before me.

I did order a pattern from Mystic Stitch called Season's Greetings. It is a Christmas stitch, but I wanted it as I don't have any Christmasy stitching hanging up during Christmas, so I can't wait for it to come, and then to get started on it. My next thing is to find something for my 10 year old that has butterflies. HAED has some really nice ones, so I am going to let her look with me, and let her pick it out, and then that will be for her.

Well I am scooting off to bed.

Tuesday

Today I am home with two children that are sick, so I was able to put this picture on here. I was going to do it last night, but when you have two children that are sick at the same time with different things, it is hard to do much of anything.

Rose Garden is coming along nicely. I still can't say that it is 50 percent done yet, but it is getting there. I am happy with they way it is turning out. It will look nice when it is finished. I can't wait for it to be done.

My rotation seems to be working, whatever made me stop that is not good. I am glad that I started rotation back up again.

My oldest daughter and my son are home sick. Ariel's throat hurts and she is complaining that her ear hurts. I am thinking ear infection, even though I hope it isn't. Justin had the flu, he has been sick since Friday. He is home today, with a slight fever, but he seems to be doing better, he may go to school tomorrow. Miranda my middle daughter didn't want to go to school today, because the other two are sick, so she is home.

I got a credit card, I am being very careful with it, and am hoping that I can keep it. I am getting ready to go over to Mystic Stitch and order something, I am hoping to get something nice. Haven't really decided what I want yet, but I am going to look around. Don't want to pick something on the wish list, want to get something else, so I am going to look around, and look around on HAED.

Saturday

I can't believe it is Saturday. I have finished cleaning the house, except my room and haven't done the laundry. I will do that tomorrow. I am afraid to go in my room, not sure what I will find in there.

Now I will sit and stitch for the rest of the afternoon. I am working on my Rose Garden this week. So I am hoping to make a nice dent in it today. I will watch a movie, after my son is done watching Power Ranger Operation Overdrive. He and his Power Rangers. LOL.

I have two more weeks for this semester, then I will register for next semester, and I can't believe I am into my second semester. WOW!!!! It has gone by fast. I have done really well. I have a Power Point that I need to do for my computer class, so I will do that either Monday, I don't have it on my computer here at home. I also have a summary to do for the same class, so that is easy enough to do. Other than that I am ready for next semester.

It is really nice here. I think it is in the 50s, not sure. But it is nice outside, I may open the window and let some fresh air in. Other then that I am going to just sit and stitch away, between keeping peace in the house between my two daughters who are fighting like cats and dogs. But that is how they are. They will grow out of it.

Off to get some stitching done.
