There really isn't anything to show right now, but I am moving right along. I have put in 2100 stitches in her over the past two weeks. I am very impressed with myself. This is 45 pages long. I started from the bottom this time. I have never done that lol. There is a first time for everything.

Christmas

It was a good Christmas! It wasn't like I planned but, the kids had a good one. Skylar got Elmos. He was thrilled with them. Then he got a race track. He had a pretty good Christmas. Miranda and Justin had a good one also. They both got some winter coats which they needed, and shirts and other stuff. Ariel and I got gift cards. I got a gift card to Barnes and Noble. So I went in and got a new book. All in all we had a good Christmas!

Other stuff

Just wanted everyone to know. Internet may be down for a while, just until I get a job. I am hoping that it doesn't, I am hoping they will be nice and leave it on until I can get a job! But I promise I will keep in touch. I won't be gone long if they disconnect it

Jennifer's life and goings onhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09977595549806400184noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2073003821773446280.post-27107530649410901852011-12-13T12:50:00.000-08:002011-12-13T17:50:10.544-08:00Stitching notes for the weekStitching

This is my HAED for my oldest daughter. It is All Hallows Eve I am stitching it on 14 count aida. I screwed up when I first started it and then I realized the fabric was turned the wrong way! It is coming along nicely. I usually do rotation and work on projects for one week, but I think I am going to keep working on this until I get frustrated or tired of it. I know I have all these other I need to do lol.
k
On a very nice note. I received a RAK today from a friend on facebook, I knew she was sending it, just didn't know when she was going to send it lol. She sent me some very nice patterns. I am anxious to start some of them. But I have 4 I need to finish. So I will be a good girl and wait. I also received another Rak from a friend and it was Cleopatra it is also a HAED. In my Rak gift that I received, I received fabric for it. So as you can see I really want to start something from my gift box.

Other news

Not really much on the home front. I still haven't put my tree up yet. I know I am putting it off, but I just haven't really felt like it and that is unusual for me. I usually have it up the day after Christmas. My mother is going to get the presents for the kids for me, which is a big help. Thank goodness they haven't asked for anything really big. I think the only major big thing I wanted was for the baby. So I think that is about it.

I am still searching for a job, not had much luck, but I am not giving up. I have an interview next week, with Staples. So I am keeping my fingers crossed. That will help if so much.

Have a great stitching week!

Jennifer's life and goings onhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09977595549806400184noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2073003821773446280.post-69832843058745450972011-06-14T16:32:00.000-07:002011-06-14T16:39:16.126-07:00Tuesday ramblings about everything.Well today was a very busy day. I ran errands and had to get batteries for the camera, if I didn't there wouldn't be any pictures of stitching or the kids. LOL I paid cell phone bill and also paid on furniture bill. I am getting a recliner tomorrow for just me to sit in and stitch. WHen that comes I am going to organize my stitching and get it all right where I need it so that I can have it right next to me. I am so excited. It has been awhile since I have had my own chair to stitch in. I also bought a flat screen tv. I am so excited about that also. I can't wait for that to come and then I will be in heaven. I have a new sofa to go with it, but haven't taken a picture of it as of yet. I am just excited about it. I needed the new furniture it was time.

I feel strange not posting stitching on this blog. As soon as I can figure out how to post a picture on here from phone there will be one.

Also we are trying to find a house. We found a nice 4 bedroom. Just need to go and talk to the company about it. I am excited because I will finally have my house.
Published with Blogger-droid v1.6.7
Jennifer's life and goings onhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09977595549806400184noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2073003821773446280.post-10172388231977356022011-02-08T05:25:00.000-08:002011-02-08T05:28:05.693-08:00Wekkly update

Good morning everyone. Wow it has been a very long time.Wow, it has been a really long time since I have posted anything. I looked and I realized I haven't posted anything since March, right after Skylar was born.

But this is an update picture. Here he is at the beach with me and the kids. Ariel took the picture. It took us 10 minutes to get him to smile for the camera. It was a little chilly, but he enjoyed him self and he had a ball.
I took him to the doctor last week, and he weighs 12 pounds and he is now 4 months old.
I have really done any stitching. I need to, I am lost with out it. I think I am going to try and stitch tonight after he goes to bed. I want to work on Castles and I also want to work on Egyptian Princess. I know they are a little dusty, but am going to brush them off and get them ready. Well this is all I have been really doing, just taking care of baby and the kids. Jennifer's life and goings onhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09977595549806400184noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2073003821773446280.post-33495887671886729842010-03-02T20:15:00.000-08:002010-03-02T20:23:08.698-08:00Baby Wall

Well here are the long awaited pictures of Skylar James Wall and the family. Now mind you the last one is not my most shining moment. But that is to be expected. I was sooooo looopy. LOL. He was born on February 26, 2010 at 9:48 am by C-section. He was 6 lbs and 11.7 ozs. He is so adorable, but that is me being partial. The other pictures are of my kids and Skylar. My oldest daughter Ariel has been a huge help for the past couple of days, and I am so thankful she was there when I came out of the ER. Aaron would have been in the pics, but he is taking the pics for me. LOL. I told him I wanted to hide the picture of me, but alas there I am.

Just wanted to update everyone, and hopefully will get to stitch soon. I am thrilled with this one so much. I really love the colors that are in this, and the ones that I picked to use to go with it. I did have to start stitching in hand, because of the beads. It has been so long since I have done that. LOL. So it was fun getting used to doing that again. But like I said, I am enjoying this one so much.

Justin feels so much better today, so he is going to school. I am going back to work and boy I am glad I kept him home, I think he and I definitely needed the bonding time. He and I watched movies all morning, then he took a nap in the afternoon, and I stitched. So all together it turned out to be a good day.

Well now time to head off to work. Until next time.Jennifer's life and goings onhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09977595549806400184noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2073003821773446280.post-3625791798996733832010-01-11T15:44:00.000-08:002010-01-11T15:57:45.456-08:00Weekly update non stitchingOk, I know I promised to have an updated picture of Castles, but today was the first day, I actually had time to sit and stitch. My son Justin was feeling under the weather last night, so I kept him home. He had a slight fever. I felt bad for him. I also think that most of it is jealousy. I think he is starting to realize that he will not be the baby of the family anymore, now that Skylar will be here in 6 weeks. (Gosh it is coming fast). He is excited, but he wants to spend time with Mommy. So while he was home laying on the couch, he and Mommy watched some movies. Then he slept this afternoon, and I did finally stitched on Castles. I will have a stitching update either tonight or tomorrow. When I do I will let everyone know that it is up.

The kids and I are fine, we are pretty anxious and ready for the baby to come. I am excited, I feel like I did when I had Ariel my oldest. LOL. I am just ready and excited.

My best friend and I kind of had a thing. I am getting to the point that I am feeling that I am losing her as a friend. She is spending time with another friend. Not that I don't mind, I just feel like she is more interested in being friends with her, and spending time with her. She got upset and told my oldest daughter that I didn't want to go anywhere anymore. I got very upset and depressed about it yesterday, and my bff called and I cried and told her how I felt, but I don't know.

Well I have also started a scrapbook for the baby. I am thrilled that I started this. I didn't do one for Ariel, or Miranda, but did one for Justin. So I am going to take pictures of Skylar every chance I get. LOL.

That is my weekly non stitching update for the week, I promise to have a stitching one in the next couple of days. I will also have a new picture to go with it.Jennifer's life and goings onhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09977595549806400184noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2073003821773446280.post-26441415229330375482010-01-02T09:35:00.001-08:002010-01-02T09:38:48.667-08:00Part 2 is finished. I am doing a Happy Dance. I am so pleased the picture didn't come out blurry. I am so pleased with the new camera. LOL. Now I am starting Part 3. As you can see I already started it last night, but I am so pleased with the results. Enjoy all. I hope that 2010 is a wonderful year for everyone. I am hoping the same for myself. LOL. Mine started off okay, and it was nice and quiet. Just me, and the kids which was nice. I told the kids, this year will hopefully be better, and I am really keeping my fingers crossed that it is. 2009 was kind of rough for me, and Ariel, myoldest and we have worked on things and we are little closer than what we were. We are taking it in small steps. Justin and Miranda are kind of going with the flow, which is okay. They are the ones who seem to not let anything bother them. I wish I could be like that sometimes.

There are so many things in store for the New Year, the first one being the birth of my son Skylar who is due on February 26th, by C-section. I am kind of glad it is that way, because that will help me to prepare and make sure the kids are taken care of while I am in the hospital. The good thing is that it is planned for a Friday, and it is the start of a weekend. There are a couple of other things going on this year, but to personal to share. So we are hoping for good things for those.

Okay onto stitching update. As you can see by the above picture. I didn't get to stitch a whole lot this week, but I am rather proud of what I have done so far on this. I am so glad that I picked this for my living room. I am saving all my spare change so that I can get it framed or buy the frame for myself. There are 24 parts to this, but that is okay, that gives me more time to save up for it. LOL. I have done more stitching on it yesterday, and will post a picture of that this weekend.

Okay, I do this every year, and of course I never get to follow through with any of them. I just hope and pray that I can do that this year. I am talking about stitching goals for 2010. So I am hoping that I can do better this year.

Here they are and here it goes.

Stitching goals for 2010

Finish Egyptian Princess for my oldest daughter

Finish Parts 3-7 for Castles

Finish stitching Country Comforts

Finish stitching Rose Garden.

Work on Christms stitching more (ornaments, tree skirt)

Always make time for stitching, find a routine for stitching, and school, and kids.

There they are I just hope that I can manage them. I am really enjoying this. I am very pleased so far with the results. It is coming together nicely. I am finding this to be a fast stitch for me, but I think that is because I am off for two weeks, and can sit down while the kids are watching movies or on the computer and stitch, and not be interuppted.

I can't do that today, because my oldest Ariel is sick with a stomach virus of some sort. She has been vomitting every five minutes and all that good stuff. I feel bad for her. My mother has the other two which is good. So if I can get Ariel situated, I will try and do some stitching. I am not really worried about the stitching today, because of her being sick.

Well I went to get my camera, and was short 49.00. I was so disappointed. I am hoping to get it on Monday after going for a doctor's appointment. The one I wanted is sold out, but I am going to try to find another one.

Well Ariel is calling me to come and help her.
