Baby update

This is the most recent updated picture of Skylar. Ariel is holding him. He has just turned 6 months. He is getting ready to crawl, and can now hold his own bottle. He has become a handful lol. But I love him just the same.

Update! Wow it has been a very long time.

Wow, it has been a really long time since I have posted anything. I looked and I realized I haven't posted anything since March, right after Skylar was born.

But this is an update picture. Here he is at the beach with me and the kids. Ariel took the picture. It took us 10 minutes to get him to smile for the camera. It was a little chilly, but he enjoyed him self and he had a ball.
I took him to the doctor last week, and he weighs 12 pounds and he is now 4 months old.
I have really done any stitching. I need to, I am lost with out it. I think I am going to try and stitch tonight after he goes to bed. I want to work on Castles and I also want to work on Egyptian Princess. I know they are a little dusty, but am going to brush them off and get them ready. Well this is all I have been really doing, just taking care of baby and the kids.

Baby Wall

Well here are the long awaited pictures of Skylar James Wall and the family. Now mind you the last one is not my most shining moment. But that is to be expected. I was sooooo looopy. LOL. He was born on February 26, 2010 at 9:48 am by C-section. He was 6 lbs and 11.7 ozs. He is so adorable, but that is me being partial. The other pictures are of my kids and Skylar. My oldest daughter Ariel has been a huge help for the past couple of days, and I am so thankful she was there when I came out of the ER. Aaron would have been in the pics, but he is taking the pics for me. LOL. I told him I wanted to hide the picture of me, but alas there I am.
Just wanted to update everyone, and hopefully will get to stitch soon. Enjoy all!!

Stitching Update

Sorry that this is a little late, but have been trying to get things cleaned up for the baby, and all that good stuff. I know I say that everytime I post, but believe me that is all I seem to do anymore. lol.

Part 4 is finished. I am so thrilled. It is really coming along nicely. I am off to get Part 5 started. I don't think that part will take forever, since it is a very small part, but we will see. I love the colors and love what I picked for it. I am just so excited about this. LOL. Well that is all for now.

Stitching update a little early

Sorry that this is a little blurry. I didn't have my stitching light on when taking this picture. I did hit the focus button, but it didn't want to focus this morning.
Part 3 is almost finished. I am going to sit today and relax and not answer phone, cell phone, or the door, and just stitch and watch movies. I am very pleased with what I have done.
I was sick for the past two days so I didn't get to stitch or anything. Last night I did start feeling better, and actually worked on this. I guess that means I am not that sick anymore.
I was pretty worried about myself on Thursday, but I feel better than what I did. So today is a stitching/hiding day for me. I can't hide from the kids, but they are watching cartoons and that is a good thing, I can stitch.

The Long awaited stitching update

Here is the long awaited stitching update and new picture of Castles. I am thrilled with this one so much. I really love the colors that are in this, and the ones that I picked to use to go with it. I did have to start stitching in hand, because of the beads. It has been so long since I have done that. LOL. So it was fun getting used to doing that again. But like I said, I am enjoying this one so much.

Justin feels so much better today, so he is going to school. I am going back to work and boy I am glad I kept him home, I think he and I definitely needed the bonding time. He and I watched movies all morning, then he took a nap in the afternoon, and I stitched. So all together it turned out to be a good day.

Well now time to head off to work. Until next time.

Weekly update non stitching

Ok, I know I promised to have an updated picture of Castles, but today was the first day, I actually had time to sit and stitch. My son Justin was feeling under the weather last night, so I kept him home. He had a slight fever. I felt bad for him. I also think that most of it is jealousy. I think he is starting to realize that he will not be the baby of the family anymore, now that Skylar will be here in 6 weeks. (Gosh it is coming fast). He is excited, but he wants to spend time with Mommy. So while he was home laying on the couch, he and Mommy watched some movies. Then he slept this afternoon, and I did finally stitched on Castles. I will have a stitching update either tonight or tomorrow. When I do I will let everyone know that it is up.

The kids and I are fine, we are pretty anxious and ready for the baby to come. I am excited, I feel like I did when I had Ariel my oldest. LOL. I am just ready and excited.

My best friend and I kind of had a thing. I am getting to the point that I am feeling that I am losing her as a friend. She is spending time with another friend. Not that I don't mind, I just feel like she is more interested in being friends with her, and spending time with her. She got upset and told my oldest daughter that I didn't want to go anywhere anymore. I got very upset and depressed about it yesterday, and my bff called and I cried and told her how I felt, but I don't know.

Well I have also started a scrapbook for the baby. I am thrilled that I started this. I didn't do one for Ariel, or Miranda, but did one for Justin. So I am going to take pictures of Skylar every chance I get. LOL.

That is my weekly non stitching update for the week, I promise to have a stitching one in the next couple of days. I will also have a new picture to go with it.

Part 2 is finished. Doing a happy dance

Part 2 is finished. I am doing a Happy Dance. I am so pleased the picture didn't come out blurry. I am so pleased with the new camera. LOL. Now I am starting Part 3. As you can see I already started it last night, but I am so pleased with the results. Enjoy all. Will have another picture when I post weekly update.

Happy New Year, and progress photo/stitching update

Happy New Year everyone! I hope that 2010 is a wonderful year for everyone. I am hoping the same for myself. LOL. Mine started off okay, and it was nice and quiet. Just me, and the kids which was nice. I told the kids, this year will hopefully be better, and I am really keeping my fingers crossed that it is. 2009 was kind of rough for me, and Ariel, myoldest and we have worked on things and we are little closer than what we were. We are taking it in small steps. Justin and Miranda are kind of going with the flow, which is okay. They are the ones who seem to not let anything bother them. I wish I could be like that sometimes.

There are so many things in store for the New Year, the first one being the birth of my son Skylar who is due on February 26th, by C-section. I am kind of glad it is that way, because that will help me to prepare and make sure the kids are taken care of while I am in the hospital. The good thing is that it is planned for a Friday, and it is the start of a weekend. There are a couple of other things going on this year, but to personal to share. So we are hoping for good things for those.

Okay onto stitching update. As you can see by the above picture. I didn't get to stitch a whole lot this week, but I am rather proud of what I have done so far on this. I am so glad that I picked this for my living room. I am saving all my spare change so that I can get it framed or buy the frame for myself. There are 24 parts to this, but that is okay, that gives me more time to save up for it. LOL. I have done more stitching on it yesterday, and will post a picture of that this weekend.

Okay, I do this every year, and of course I never get to follow through with any of them. I just hope and pray that I can do that this year. I am talking about stitching goals for 2010. So I am hoping that I can do better this year.

Here they are and here it goes.

Stitching goals for 2010

  1. Finish Egyptian Princess for my oldest daughter
  2. Finish Parts 3-7 for Castles
  3. Finish stitching Country Comforts
  4. Finish stitching Rose Garden.
  5. Work on Christms stitching more (ornaments, tree skirt)
  6. Always make time for stitching, find a routine for stitching, and school, and kids.

There they are I just hope that I can manage them. They don't look like a whole lot,but for me, that is just me. My big thing is following through. So maybe this year I can do better.

Well it is time to start following through. So I am off to get started, and get some stitching done, and all that good stuff.

Have a great and fantastic New Year! Let's get stitching!
