Happy New Year everyone! I hope that 2010 is a wonderful year for everyone. I am hoping the same for myself. LOL. Mine started off okay, and it was nice and quiet. Just me, and the kids which was nice. I told the kids, this year will hopefully be better, and I am really keeping my fingers crossed that it is. 2009 was kind of rough for me, and Ariel, myoldest and we have worked on things and we are little closer than what we were. We are taking it in small steps. Justin and Miranda are kind of going with the flow, which is okay. They are the ones who seem to not let anything bother them. I wish I could be like that sometimes.
There are so many things in store for the New Year, the first one being the birth of my son Skylar who is due on February 26th, by C-section. I am kind of glad it is that way, because that will help me to prepare and make sure the kids are taken care of while I am in the hospital. The good thing is that it is planned for a Friday, and it is the start of a weekend. There are a couple of other things going on this year, but to personal to share. So we are hoping for good things for those.
Okay onto stitching update. As you can see by the above picture. I didn't get to stitch a whole lot this week, but I am rather proud of what I have done so far on this. I am so glad that I picked this for my living room. I am saving all my spare change so that I can get it framed or buy the frame for myself. There are 24 parts to this, but that is okay, that gives me more time to save up for it. LOL. I have done more stitching on it yesterday, and will post a picture of that this weekend.
Okay, I do this every year, and of course I never get to follow through with any of them. I just hope and pray that I can do that this year. I am talking about stitching goals for 2010. So I am hoping that I can do better this year.
Here they are and here it goes.
Stitching goals for 2010
- Finish Egyptian Princess for my oldest daughter
- Finish Parts 3-7 for Castles
- Finish stitching Country Comforts
- Finish stitching Rose Garden.
- Work on Christms stitching more (ornaments, tree skirt)
- Always make time for stitching, find a routine for stitching, and school, and kids.
There they are I just hope that I can manage them. They don't look like a whole lot,but for me, that is just me. My big thing is following through. So maybe this year I can do better.
Well it is time to start following through. So I am off to get started, and get some stitching done, and all that good stuff.
Have a great and fantastic New Year! Let's get stitching!
