Cleopatra after week 2

Stitching

Here is Cleopatra after stitching on here for another two weeks. There really isn't anything to show right now, but I am moving right along. I have put in 2100 stitches in her over the past two weeks. I am very impressed with myself. This is 45 pages long. I started from the bottom this time. I have never done that lol. There is a first time for everything.

Christmas

It was a good Christmas! It wasn't like I planned but, the kids had a good one. Skylar got Elmos. He was thrilled with them. Then he got a race track. He had a pretty good Christmas. Miranda and Justin had a good one also. They both got some winter coats which they needed, and shirts and other stuff. Ariel and I got gift cards. I got a gift card to Barnes and Noble. So I went in and got a new book. All in all we had a good Christmas!

Other stuff

Just wanted everyone to know. Internet may be down for a while, just until I get a job. I am hoping that it doesn't, I am hoping they will be nice and leave it on until I can get a job! But I promise I will keep in touch. I won't be gone long if they disconnect it

Stitching notes for the week

Stitching

This is my HAED for my oldest daughter. It is All Hallows Eve I am stitching it on 14 count aida. I screwed up when I first started it and then I realized the fabric was turned the wrong way! It is coming along nicely. I usually do rotation and work on projects for one week, but I think I am going to keep working on this until I get frustrated or tired of it. I know I have all these other I need to do lol.

On a very nice note. I received a RAK today from a friend on facebook, I knew she was sending it, just didn't know when she was going to send it lol. She sent me some very nice patterns. I am anxious to start some of them. But I have 4 I need to finish. So I will be a good girl and wait. I also received another Rak from a friend and it was Cleopatra it is also a HAED. In my Rak gift that I received, I received fabric for it. So as you can see I really want to start something from my gift box.

Other news

Not really much on the home front. I still haven't put my tree up yet. I know I am putting it off, but I just haven't really felt like it and that is unusual for me. I usually have it up the day after Christmas. My mother is going to get the presents for the kids for me, which is a big help. Thank goodness they haven't asked for anything really big. I think the only major big thing I wanted was for the baby. So I think that is about it.

I am still searching for a job, not had much luck, but I am not giving up. I have an interview next week, with Staples. So I am keeping my fingers crossed. That will help if so much.

Tuesday ramblings about everything.

Well today was a very busy day. I ran errands and had to get batteries for the camera, if I didn't there wouldn't be any pictures of stitching or the kids. LOL I paid cell phone bill and also paid on furniture bill. I am getting a recliner tomorrow for just me to sit in and stitch. WHen that comes I am going to organize my stitching and get it all right where I need it so that I can have it right next to me. I am so excited. It has been awhile since I have had my own chair to stitch in. I also bought a flat screen tv. I am so excited about that also. I can't wait for that to come and then I will be in heaven. I have a new sofa to go with it, but haven't taken a picture of it as of yet. I am just excited about it. I needed the new furniture it was time.

I feel strange not posting stitching on this blog. But I have a new one and it is stitchingnotesandsuch and it is on blogger. I am eventually going to delete one of the blogs, I think it is going to be this one, but want to see if I can keep up with both.

I doubt it, but we will see. My friends that follow on here don't comment hardly anymore, and they know who they are, I miss you all terribly. I hope that you will post and say hi.

New picture of Skylar and of Ariel

Here is some new pictures of Skylar and of my oldest daughter Ariel. She is on the couch due to the fact that she has had surgery. My "little" man is keeping a vigil on her, as she is loopy from the pain medicine. He is her eyeball.

Part 2 of stitching update.

I am not sure if this is going to work, butI am going to try. I don't know why it wouldn't let me post blog with my picture yesterday, but it wouldn't let me and it was very frustrating. So I am going to see if this works.

The picture below is the new picture of Nature's Home Afghan. It is coming along nicely. I put it dow for the week and now am working on another one called Kittens on Shelf. Hopefully will have pics soon.

Stitching update

Here is my recent update of the afghan. I just picked this back up yesterday, I am coming along on it. Now I am going to go and sit and read and stitch some this afternoon. Little one is down for his nap

I feel really awful that I haven't been posting.

Wow it has been a really long time since I have posted anything. But that is how life is.
I haven't been really doing a whole lot of stitching, been so busy with life and 4 kids that I am really tired by the time I get to sit down and do anything and then I usually fall asleep.
I am still working on Nature's HOme Afghan. I picked up to day after two months of no stitching. I am hoping to make some kind of dent in stitching today. But other than that. Not really much is going on. My oldest graduated high school, and she turned 18. Then Skylar just turned one, he is getting so big.
I will hopefully post some pictures of the kids and stitching soon

Weekly stitching update

This is an updated picture of nature's Home afghan. This is block 19. i hadn't stitched this in so long. I brought it out this past week, and am trying to get it finished. I am so excited. I was kind of worried about the color of the birdhouse, but it is looking well.

Weekly update

This afternoon I started another UFO Nature's Home afghan. I started this so long ago. I pulled it out tonight and started working on it again. I am determined to finish this this time. As soon as I can figure out how to post a picture on here from phone there will be one.

Also we are trying to find a house. We found a nice 4 bedroom. Just need to go and talk to the company about it. I am excited because I will finally have my house.

Wekkly update

Good morning everyone. I know I am a little early with my weekly update. But I am really excited today. I have been stitching. I am so pleased with myself. This is a UFO that I restarted and frogged. It is called Kittens on a Shelf. It is so cute. I am going to make this for my hallway. I have been stitching every night. It feels good to stitch again.

Time to scoot, will have a longer update next time.

We are still around.

Everyone is doing well. Skylar will be a year old at the end of this month. I can't believe he is going to be one! Justin and girls are doing well. Other than that we are going along in life. I am stitching here and there but not like i want to.

Baby update

This is the most recent updated picture of Skylar. Ariel is holding him. He has just turned 6 months. He is getting ready to crawl, and can now hold his own bottle. He has become a handful lol. But I love him just the same.

Update! Wow it has been a very long time.

Wow, it has been a really long time since I have posted anything. I looked and I realized I haven't posted anything since March, right after Skylar was born.

But this is an update picture. Here he is at the beach with me and the kids. Ariel took the picture. It took us 10 minutes to get him to smile for the camera. It was a little chilly, but he enjoyed him self and he had a ball.
I took him to the doctor last week, and he weighs 12 pounds and he is now 4 months old.
I have really done any stitching. I need to, I am lost with out it. I think I am going to try and stitch tonight after he goes to bed. I want to work on Castles and I also want to work on Egyptian Princess. I know they are a little dusty, but am going to brush them off and get them ready. Well this is all I have been really doing, just taking care of baby and the kids.

Baby Wall

Well here are the long awaited pictures of Skylar James Wall and the family. Now mind you the last one is not my most shining moment. But that is to be expected. I was sooooo looopy. LOL. He was born on February 26, 2010 at 9:48 am by C-section. He was 6 lbs and 11.7 ozs. He is so adorable, but that is me being partial. The other pictures are of my kids and Skylar. My oldest daughter Ariel has been a huge help for the past couple of days, and I am so thankful she was there when I came out of the ER. Aaron would have been in the pics, but he is taking the pics for me. LOL. I told him I wanted to hide the picture of me, but alas there I am.

Just wanted to update everyone, and hopefully will get to stitch soon. Enjoy all!!

Stitching Update

Sorry that this is a little late, but have been trying to get things cleaned up for the baby, and all that good stuff. I know I say that everytime I post, but believe me that is all I seem to do anymore. lol.

Part 4 is finished. I am so thrilled. It is really coming along nicely. I am off to get Part 5 started. I don't think that part will take forever, since it is a very small part, but we will see. I love the colors and love what I picked for it. I am just so excited about this. LOL. Well that is all for now.

Stitching update a little early

Sorry that this is a little blurry. I didn't have my stitching light on when taking this picture. I did hit the focus button, but it didn't want to focus this morning.

Part 3 is almost finished. I am going to sit today and relax and not answer phone, cell phone, or the door, and just stitch and watch movies. I am very pleased with what I have done.

I was sick for the past two days so I didn't get to stitch or anything. Last night I did start feeling better, and actually worked on this. I guess that means I am not that sick anymore.

I was pretty worried about myself on Thursday, but I feel better than what I did. So today is a stitching/hiding day for me. I can't hide from the kids, but they are watching cartoons and that is a good thing, I can stitch.
