Good morning

I do not have an update picture of any stitching, but will have one this weekend. I have been trying to stitch with everything going on here.

I have been very busy cleaning out the girl's room. It was a mess, and that is an understatement big time. I asked the girls why in the world do they let their room get this messy, and they just shrugged their shoulders. Well no more. I have gotten the room cleaned out, the next step is their closet, and I don't know if I want to go in there at all. I don't know what is in there.

Then Ariel, my oldest is starting her mess again, thinking that she can do what she wants when she wants. I put an end to the very quickly. She is a little peeved at me, but that is life.

We are still alive here, and kicking. I promise to have an update picture of some stitching. It will probably be Bed and Breakfast, since that is what I am working on this week. I am doing rotation again, so next week is Season's Greetings.

Today I have to work at 11. I am not sure if I will get to stitch or not, we will see. I am hoping to tonight, when I get home.

That is it for me today. Have a good day

School is out

Yesterday was the last day of school, and the last day of work for me. I was so happy in a way. I will miss the kids, but I know I will see them next year as they head off to the first grade. It was really hard in a way. There were a couple that I kind of took under my wing, and will miss a lot. On the other hand I was happy, I needed the break, and I am glad it is here. I can get so much needed stitching done, which will be nice. The only real school thing I am doing is taking Ariel to cheerleading practice, and that is two nights a week. She is doing well with it.

Speaking of Ariel, I am not sure if I posted this on the blog on not, but Ariel had a scuffle at school with another girl. Well both girls were sent home. Ariel wasn't suspended, but the other girl was. The girl will not leave her alone. She has called her and texted her some very nasty texts. I have called this girl's cell phone and asked to speak to her father. The bad thing is that this girl's father is completely oblivous to what this girl is doing. He has no idea. I never got an answer from the father. She then in turn used Ariel's best friend's cell phone yesterday and texted Ariel. Well I called the cell phone to talk to Sonya the one who owns the cell phone, and this girl hung up on me. It seems that they think they can get under Ariel's skin which they are doing a pretty good job of. I told Ariel that I wanted the cell phone, and that if this girl did call I would take care of it. It is just stupid. I did tell Ariel to not worry about it, and that if it kept going on, then I would take some kind of action against the girl.

Stitching wise, I did get some stitching done last night, on Bed and Breakfast. Going to sit and do some stitching today, and just relax and chill. House cleaning can wait one more day. I need one day to just sit and stitch away, without having to rush somewhere later.

I do have some things planned for the summer, but not a whole bunch of things. If it keeps up with the heat the way it has, I won't be doing a whole heck of a lot.

Well off to get dressed, as I am still in my pjs, and straighten up the house, and then stitch.

New stitching pics

Good morning all. Here is the long awaited picture of Season's Greetings. I know that it isn't much, but it is coming along. I ran out of DMC 794, but I am getting some more. Thank goodness. I really need it. That is my son's hand in the bottom of the picture. He was being funny this morning.

I was sent a wonderful RAK from Chris Wilson. She sent me a Mystic that I have been trying to save my pennies for, and well I was so excited. My daughter Ariel was also, as this is the one that she wanted. It is called Egyptian Princess. I almost fell out in the floor. So you know what that means time to add it to rotation. Chris really made my day. Well off to work. Have a good day.

Sunday update

It is really hot here today. I am trying to stay cool, but that is hard with no AC. They need to come and turn it on.

Things here are going well. My oldest daughter Ariel made the cheerleading squad at her school, she is very excited. After practice the other night, we ended up taking her to the ER, she was dropped 5 times by her bases. She is the flyer, so they have to catch her, well.... they did, but they dropped her. The last time she was dropped she landed on top of someone's head, thank goodness she didn't break her ribs like we thought she had done. They are just bruised, but she is feeling a little better, and still a little sore, but she is hanging in there.

Stitching wise, I haven't had much time to stitch at all lately, but today I am going to sit and stitch and get some much needed stitching time in. I will probably do a movie marathon, who knows.

I will have a picture of Season's Greetings for everyone hopefully tonight.

Well off to get some stitching and laundry done.
